About Me

lkpainter
Linda Marks Kleinbart graduated from The Pennsylvania State University where she majored in the field of Art Education.

Her formal training went on hiatus when she became an art teacher in the Philadelphia area, working with both elementary and junior high school age students and was further postponed as she raised her three daughters.

Along with her teaching duties, she studied in the Masters Degree program at the Tyler School of Fine Arts in Philadelphia.

Her watercolor career blossomed approximately ten years ago due to her association with The Chestertown Arts League (CAL)in Chestertown, MD. Under the auspices of CAL, she has participated in numerous watercolor workshops, which included instruction from Don Andrews, Jean Spicer Skip Lawrence and Judy Morris, as well as highly accomplished local artists. Varied subject matter of Ms. Kleinbart’s work is attributed to her quick studies during travel as well as her love of horticulture.

Her pieces are in many private collections.
