I happened upon Karin Juric's site, Different Strokes from Different Folks and tried this week's image to paint. It's a great deal of fun to see everyone's interpretation. I can learn a lot from other people's work. This challenge ends on Sept. 16th when Karin will post another photo. This is my entry in the DSFDF challenge for Sept., 2009

Not ready for picking, '09

We planted too many tomato plants this spring and anxiously awaited our first picking. It was like the Sorcerer's Apprentice! Once the tomatoes began to ripen we were inundated! But, they were just delicious!
